Hydroxychloroquine has not been long-ruled safe. It has some major side effects. I am not a doctor, but based on the studies I have read, I would not take it myself.

Trump took it. Congressman Gohmert is about to start it. Millions of Americans take it for RA, lupus, other illnesses. Many, many millions of doses taken for many, many years globally for malaria. It’s available OTC in plenty of nations.
A supposedly ‘free’ America is the real tyrant on this drug.
