With people not informing themselves about what is current in school and not vetting the people they vote in, they give more power to teachers.

On this topic...where does one find this info? I have a new voter in our family who can’t find any information on anyone on the ballot. There are no voter guides anywhere that we can find.

Most certainly the candidates have a web page or a FB page. Twitter maybe, but prolly not. They should have their platform posted. Sometimes you have to read a little to know if they're a commie or not.

Call your state GOP and ask for a voter guide.

Gal, on voting info, if you know nothing start with a not-go-ogle search for conservative voter guide. I have 2 I like. One is ivoterguide.com and I will have to search email for the name of the other but maybe someone else replied? I also check right-to-life and NRA ratings. I try to keep up with voting positions on things thru the interim between elections but if needed I go research those. In all I devote at least a couple of days to candidate research before primaries.

Our county GOP has a you tube channel which hosts videos of all our candidates. This has been a tremendous service and saves time trying to dig truth on local candidates. You might check around for something like that.

Most voter guides are in the process of being compiled. Volunteers research the candidates in August. Much of the work is already done from the primaries. The final products usually come out sometime in September. Good sites for national level info are Ballotpedia and IVoterGuid.

Our local gun stores have websites and list recommendations. They are great for judges and the little peeps like school boards, etc.
