Does Betsy D (no idea how to spell her last name) have an control over the teachers unions? The NEA? Who is in a position to make this garbage stop, other than the parents who either have no clue or perhaps feel helpless.

Answer: No, DeVoss has no control or authority over the teacher's union. Furthermore, the NEA despite her and lobby against her.

In 4 years as a teacher in Texas I refused to join the union. It was a battle. Since its inception the NEA has been in favor of educating children to be socialists. Well documented fact.

Schools are taxpayer funded, how the heck do they get away with this?
I understand the need for parents to be involved but being realistic, there has to be some oversight, no?
