“Not to be argumentative, but HIPAA only applies to release of information by healthcare organizations, not a business owner. A business can set any rules they want for entering private property and deny entry as long as they do not discriminate. You can claim you can’t for medical reasons, but there’s no law against them asking you for proof.”

Not argumentative at all bigbob! Good information and I thank you for the correct information.

Good,it’s just annoying and frustrating as heck but I put the mask on because it’s more convenient for me to comply and get what I need than to make a fuss about something I don’t think is necessary and haven’t seen the scientific backing for, just because some bureaucrat said so. And I know the workers are just doing what they’ve been instructed to do and are probably as sick of wearing them as anyone, so there’s no point in being nasty to them about the policy.

If solid scientific studies prove that people who don’t have symptoms can spread the virus, then I’ll agree it was a worthwhile precaution. But the lack of spikes in the riot areas proved to me that isn’t the case because those idiots weren’t all wearing masks.

I reckon some day the facts will be apparent to all that it was unjustified and boy won’t they feel dumb then ;-)
