Don’t you think the rhetoric and language has been ratcheting up? For instance, Trump now says “treason” in the same sentence as “Obama”, whereas a year or more ago it was “bad people spied on me”. Part of the process of bringing people along who aren’t paying attention so when big things are announced it won’t result in total shock and collapse.
It also seems to me there’s an element of timing involved. Eventually we may find that they’ve had the goods on Obama for some time, but had to get all the other pieces in place first.
I still go back to “which laws were broken” whenever someone talks about sending people to jail. Our laws were written by people who intended on evading them, so they left lots of wiggle-room and made the laws intentionally weak. Just like the mask nonsense, where they made members of Congress exempt.
I agree about Trump’s use of language ramping up, and with frequency. Jim Jordan is always fantastic.
When announcments are made about what is being released to Congress/public etc, it is sure and certain that these have been scrutinized and utilized by Durham and his team already and if made public, it’s becausce the grand juries already have been held on these matters.
It does seem likely that everything has to be finished on all the crininals before indictments start.
Not sure what you mean about Congress exempt from masks since there is no federal law about masks that I’ve heard of. Unless the House just made some special announcemnt or whatever that they don’t have to wear them.
