it seems like there are new charges, indictments, or announcements of executions coming out of DOJ almost everyday, but crickets in MSM & even down alt news websites, twatterville, or other assorted rabbit holes

Very odd that the article omits said “mutual party” affiliation. Must not be a Republican.

Michael “Ozzie” Myers was charged July 21, 2020 in an indictment unsealed on July 23, 2020, with conspiring to violate voting rights by fraudulently stuffing the ballot boxes for specific candidates in the 2014, 2015, and 2016 primary elections, bribery of an election official, falsification of records, voting more than once in federal elections, and obstruction of justice.

Mr Myers is charged with conspiring with and bribing the former Judge of Elections for the 39th Ward, 36th Division, Domenick J. Demuro. Demuro, who pleaded guilty previously in federal court in Philadelphia, was responsible for overseeing the entire election process and all voter activities of his division in accord with federal and state election laws.

Remember this?............................. In the Abscam sting, Myers was convicted of bribery and conspiracy for taking money from FBI agents who posed as Arab sheiks. A former ward leader and former cargo checker on the Philly waterfront, he was captured on tape saying a $15,000 bribe was not sufficient.

At Myers’ direction, Demuro would add these fraudulent votes to the totals during Election Day, and then would later falsely certify that the voting machine results were accurate

How can you even have a voting machine which allows some random guy to just keep adding votes like that?

It's an announcement from the DOJ, not an article. It would be inappropriate for the DOJ to discuss his political affiliation. Best practice is to avoid any possible appearance of political motivation on the part of the prosecutor.

In the Abscam case, Myers said to the bogus Sheik, (an undercover FBI Agent), from whom Myers was soliciting a bribe, words to the effect that “money talks and bullshit walks.”
