The problem is that a whole lot of voters who are repulsed by what the Democrat Party is doing big-picture nonetheless look at their own particular D Congressman and think “He’s a good guy. He gets us funding for/the new senior citizen center/bike paths through the park/the annual Farkleberry Festival/those bridge repairs out on Highway 12/etc. etc. etc. etc. etc”.
Until the average American breaks his addiction to Federal Pork this will continue to be a problem.
That, indeed, has been the scenario forever. This anti-peace and harmony crap will finally break the chain....in some areas.
in California, for example , the AB5 legislation that forced all free-lance and contract workers (big numbers, there) to join a union will doom more than a few D house reps, imho.
