The NBA's new 'Black Lives Matter' court paint and socially distanced bench chairs have been unveiled at Disney World in Orlando as the league prepares to restart its season next week amid the coronavirus pandemic. ESPN's Malika Andrews posted pictures on social media from inside the NBA's bubble, which is aimed at keeping players and staff safe from the outbreak while 22 of the 30 league teams attempt to finish the 2019-2020 season. The paint job had previously been reported, but had gone unseen until Tuesday. Players will also have the option of having social justice messages, like 'Black Lives Matter,' emblazoned on the backs of their jerseys.

“Who cares?”
I do. I’m a fan of pro golf.
I was a fan of several pro and college sports. As they show disrespect for the American flag and what it stands for...and as they become anti-Caucasian racist, I am a ex-fan. I have no tolerance for such un-American behavior.
“How can a team with people from all over the country vs another team with people from all over the country be about competition between two cities?”
Well, that is a very good point that I had not considered. :)
“I read a comment on FR that the NHL is ALL IN on the BLM bs. as well.”
Oh no. Say it ain’t so.
Colin what’s-his-last-name really turned pro sports into a disgusting spectacle. I hope he and the other rich guys go completely bankrupt, that they spend every last dime on bling, women, alcohol, fancy cars and houses, etc.
It’ll be like those stories about people who win a million dollars in the lottery. Nine times out of ten, the money is gone within a year. Stupid.
If I won, which I won’t because I consider gambling, especially lottery tickets, to be a tax on the poor and stupid, I would immediately pay off all debt, credit cards, mortgage, and car loan. After that, $5K in some safe investment for each of my two children, also to my husband and myself, then a nice trip somewhere for all of us, then to a really good charity, and then I’d give the rest to a financial advisor to invest for me.
So around $30K to $35K for the distributions to family and charity, and the rest to set me up for life.
Oh, and by the way, just for fun, I would perhaps consider leaving all my earthly possessions to my dog.
Speaking on my behalf, the lawyer would say, “Clearly, it was the deceased’s intent to leave her belongings and wealth to her Black Lab.”
That would start the mother of all family disputes. LOL!
I expect to see this slogan on all of the college basketball courts, too.
This was the thing that caused me to never watch another NBA game. Ignorance is one thing, openly supporting the chi comes is another.
