FR was a big deal in 98 and 99. Not to diss it now, but Tony Snow and Sean Hannity had accounts, Rush Limbaugh talked about it.

Today, not so much. Looks like a lot of embedded accounts have been reactivated, after being dormant.

FWIW, I mostly left FR when about three people appointed themselves the thread police. They ran off a lot of Freepers, including me, for several years. I never got into it with them, just got tired of seeing them tag team and run people off.

I was gone from here for, I think, about five years. Came back when I found the Q threads.
