How FBI Caught Indian Fugitive Deepanshu Kher Using Real-Time Travel Data From SABRE

Interesting article with court docs attached in article.

"The FBI has caught Indian fugitive Deepanshu Kher using real-time travel data. The case has exposed the nexus between FBI and Sabre, a travel technology company based in Southlake, Texas."

..."Along with Sabre, Amadeus and Travelport are the other two, enormous data giants used by FBI for real-time surveillance."

From the court doc:

"The United States of America, by and through Robert S. Brewer, Jr., United States Attorney, and Alexandra F. Foster, Assistant United States Attorney, hereby moves this Court under the All Writs Act, 28 U.S.C. § 1651, for an order requiring Sabre to assist in the execution of a federal arrest warrant by periodically reviewing its records for evidence that the subject of the arrest warrant is travelling."

Even more interesting and soon to be relevant?:

Leaked Intelligence – Iran Attacks Part Of Mossad Chief Campaign To Become Prime Minister Of Israel
By GreatGameIndia - July 22, 2020

I will put something from later in the article first for context because NYT is mentioned.

"An explosion occurred at the Natanz nuclear-fuel-enrichment complex in early July. This could have set back Iran’s advancement toward a nuclear warhead by months or years. A “Middle Eastern intelligence official with knowledge of the episode” told the New York Times that behind this attack was Israel."

Ok Now:

"Leaked intelligence suggest Iran attacks are part of Mossad Chief Yossi Cohen’s campaign to become Prime Minister of Israel. The incitements indicate the likelihood of a spiraling conflict in the Middle East, which could likely by an issue in the upcoming U.S. presidential election."

Mossad Chief for Prime Minister? "In last few weeks, a series of suspicious fires and explosions have occurred at Iranian civilian and military facilities. These include the country’s main missile-production and nuclear complexes. Some of these incidents could have been accidental."

"However, the timing and specific targets propose that some were the consequence of sabotage by Israel, as per leaked intelligence. The incitements indicate the likelihood of a spiraling conflict in the Middle East, which could likely by an issue in the upcoming U.S. presidential election."

> SABRE

I am familiar with the company. Basically Sabre is a repository for airline tickets. The company I worked for and hope to work for again (temporary furlough) is a student air travel company. When a college student goes on our website for discounted airline tickets we send a request to Sabre and they return all the possible flights for the criteria we send them. Those choices are then displayed and the customer can then choose which flight they want on our site.

If this guy had access to Sabre that means he has travel agent credentials at the very least.
