Is a two meter drop really that significant?

Is a two meter drop really that significant?

Two meters is six feet. that could be a decent drop based on normal conditions.
But per wikipedia, the lake is only 30m deep on average, 110m max. So a 2m drop in lake level is a good 7% drop, which is sizeable for a lot of fish habitats and whatnot.
