As far as I am concerned, what is going on in Portlandia is inner-squad practice. The fascist team knows the police are ordered to put up only token resistance. The risk of getting arrested in minimal and even if arrested, the charges will be dropped by the Soros DA.
Don’t kid yourself about what you are seeing. What you are should be looking at is not the fat, ugly, white chicks and soy boys. Those are expendable cannon-fodder - maybe a few will make it to the real team.
What is being practiced in the chaos is logistics, medics, communications, command and control, and especially training of “lieutenants” and “captains”. Letting them function night after night in chaos, dealing with changing situations, worrying about logistics, communications, tactics. I would not be surprised if they are rotating in and out various leaders to have them get experience, and then a debrief each day getting them ready for the following night.
This is not the “varsity team”, this is not even the “junior varsity team”. This is simply the practice squad working on training the support, logistics, and leadership.
If they eventually capture the flag (Federal building), great, but that is not the point of this nightly riot. It is live action training of their leaders and organization.

And all the movements have been mapped, the leadership tracked and located and the logistics plotted. Did I mention that all communications have been monitored?
