What is behind the push to deceive the public (including FReepers) into falsely believing, "It's no use...it's never going to get any better!" or, "Even if President Trump exposes the crimes of the swamp, nothing will happen...."?

"Yuri Bezmenov, Soviet defector and KGB operative described the purpose of demoralization:

"A person who was demoralized is unable to assess true information. The facts tell nothing to him. Even if I shower him with information, with authentic proof, with documents, with pictures; even if I take him by force to the Soviet Union and show him [a] concentration camp, he will refuse to believe it, until he [receives] a kick in his fat-bottom.

When a military boot crashes his balls then he will understand. But not before that. That's the [tragedy] of the situation of demoralization." ~ Oratam

Without the constant doses of DOOM! NOTHING IS HAPPENING!, I do believe FReepers would have organized against the fake Covid-19 lockdown and other unacceptable infringements on our rights. But so MANY on FR are dedicated to spreading defeatism. *smh*

The Deep State MSM is pushing fatalism so hard because it wants the public to become demoralized and paralyzed.

Excellent. I’m going to copy and save. I see a comment on the thread about “realism”. That instantly brings to mind Screwtape’s comments about how devils in hell are all about “realism”. I have the book behind me but no time to find exact quote. Lemme look online....Nope, can’t find it.
