It doesn’t bother me if the indictments are issued closer to the election than now.

Also, in a couple of months I think the corona virus and BLM preoccupations will have diminished resulting less distractions from the indictments.

Agreed. I think August would be ideal.

So then any rogue Deep State DAG could make things up about the AG, then get that AG recused, and then block an investigation into real Deep State corruption? That's what happened. Who do you think a corrupt DAG answers to? Where are the checks and balances on that rogue DAG?

The United States government has never been so heavily infiltrated in its history before. It wasn't designed to function with traitors in so many key positions.

Rosenstein's refusal to acknowledge his actions or recuse himself could not have worked without deep stater like James Comey in control of the DOJ at the time. The Deep State owned the FBI, the DAG and others reporting to the DAG.

The DAG answers to the AG. This is the entire reason Comey intercepted Sessions as soon as he took office with charges against him - he stopped Sessions from laying eyes on information he could use to fire Rosenstein. Sessions could not fire Rosenstein without reason. As you recall, the MSM Deep Staters were screaming that President Trump was about to rip the country apart with a consitutional crisis if Rosenstein or Mueller were fired or otherwise removed; there were plans for nation-wide riots to take place within 12 hours of any removal of Rosenstein or Mueller.

If Sessions had retired or been fired, there was a deep stater in the line of succession to become Deputy Attorney General with Rod Rosenstein becoming Attorney General - the Deep State almost seized the entire DOJ. President Trump waited for the rules of succession to expire and the opportunity to appoint an "acting" AG while he found someone who could make it past the confirmation process. Even then, and acting AG (Whitaker) cannot view/manage Special Counsel Muellers content or actions.

Nope, we as a Constitutional Republic have the AG inside the executive branch, answering to the Chief Executive who than answers to Congress(impeachment) and to the people.

If the AG goes rogue and covers up a legitimate investigation, then it's ups to the Chief Executive, Congress(impeachment) and the people (elections) to correct that. It's not up an unchecked rogue DAG or any other DOJ employee to make the determination of when an AG has to recuse himself.

Unchecked government employees unmoored from the Constitution are exactly why we have a Deep State.

It doesn't work. It didn't work. Look at the damage done.

The AG never went rogue and never covered up a legitimate investigation. The contents were considered classified and with recusal, Sessions could not review the material he needed in order to act. The President could not remove Sessions because the Deep State would win complete control of the DOJ. Sessions hung on and started countless investigations which are now beginning to surface in the public eye.

Deep Staters in the government, many of whom were installed in the prior 3 presidential adminsitration, are why we have had unchecked actions. No government can function normally with the extreme infiltration of traitors that President Trump walked into Jan 20, 2020. However, he and other patriots are winning and the road has been rough, with set backs and betrayals, but they won't give up.  The damage done is nothing compared to the overthrow of the government which could have resulted from any number of snares and traps set by the Deep State. WINNING!

Thanks for your remarks. The wheels of justice grind slowly.
When I got to your comment I was going to suggest that this forum be renamed to CYNICS CORNER.

lodi, I would advise you to read up on Durham. He is a straight shooter among straight shooters. He is as far from politically motivated as anyone can be, and absolutely devoted to justice, wherever it takes. I have read everything I can on him and he is considered the best of the best. Your assertiong that he has “steadfastly refused to indict coupists” is a figment of your imagination. He is silent about progress until the day of indcitments, which are coming.

Are you professionally trying to instill defeatism or just a regular eeyore?

Sunshine pumping breaths life into the Deep State run out the clock game plan. Maximum pressure must be applied to get any results. The GOP has proven they will do the minimum required in support of POTUS. MAGA supporters should not enabling the do-nothing GOP. I wish it was different but it is what it is.

“So that the targets and their buddies will see what Durham is working on?”

I hope that Durham really is “working on” something. If he is, he could have a say into whether a document release would impact his investigation.

On the other hand, if crimes indeed were committed, getting the facts about that into the public domain could force Barr, Durham, or someone to actually take action.

Barr and Durham don’t need the public to force them to take action. They’re taking action and have been since they stepped into their positions.
