CDC has been very political for a very long time. It is why they were stopped from doing overtly anti-Second Amendment "studies" in 1996, with the Dickey Amendment.

The Administrative State sees Donald Trump as a threat, because he takes the Constituion seriously. He is not just a figurehead.

It is not surprising they put defeating Trump ahead of the protection of the American people.

One of the powerful foundations of the Progressive theory of government is that "public health" overrides Constitutional guarantees.

It is why the Left attempts to make *everything* a "public health" issue. "Public health" is an Orwellian phrase that can be made to include everything. It can include what you eat, wear, read, watch, drive, and who you marry or associate with.
