My only surprise will be if they only had ONE informant inside the WH...
Here’s another pretty interesting piece that Sundance wrote, posted on CFP today - that provides an explanation for “why” they started doing all these things that look pretty dumb in retrospect. His argument is that they enjoyed unlimited access to the NSA database for spying purposes from 2012-2016 until Adm. Mike Rogers put a halt to it. Then, in order to keep the spying going (which was paramount to them) they turned to Fusion GPS, Chris Steele, Nellie Ohr, and the other avenues we have become familiar with:

What is unanswered is “why did they see Trump as such a threat in the first place?”. But I think we know the answer to that. It was important enough to them that when their easy access dried up they went to crazy lengths to continue it.
why did they see Trump as such a threat in the first place?

Running behind in the thread as usual about 200 post behind.
I have a slightly different take on recent Q post. I do not think that Flynn can get past the Senate, without major heartburn. It is not the battle Trump needs at this point. What I do see is this:
* Hot August on the horizon, according to Q
* Lots of news and information to be revealed
* I predict Grennell to FBI, easier passage and tougher for Dems to vote against a LGBTQ nominee
* Republican convention arrives, Pence steps down for second term (forced?), Flynn becomes VP candidate running with DJT
* Flynn past as a democrat will draw more votes away from Biden
* Flynn will become the heir apparent R nominee for 2024, thus guaranteeing this battle will not end after DJT leaves office
