“If you read the whole article, you can sense the Cruise Lines are going to accomodate our inept and incompetent CDC, as the cruise lines are now in a position of going bankrupt if the cruise lines get more restrictions put on them by our CDC, or the UN WHO.”

They are just as likely to go bankrupt from passengers/survivors of passengers suing them to oblivion. When you run floating hotbeds of deadly diseases, it’s a business risk you have to take. I don’t know why this would surprise or shock anyone.

The cruise lines do a better job of disease prevention than your typical elementary school.
That is one of the reasons cruise ships are foreign flagged .
Avoid taxes - avoid American unions - and avoid lawsuits from a litigious society, like ours.
People go into business to make money , not to pay taxes or have their employees tell them how to run the business or how much they should be paying their employees.
Being foreign flagged helps avoid those business problems.
Like most big businesses, remember cruise lines aren't in business to create jobs, or pay taxes, they are there to make money. -Tom
