As much as we all loathe and hate Lizzie Warren here, her Consumer Financial Protection Bureau has produced results on stuff like this.

Yep. My flight crew and I ate at a Cuban restaurant in Miami and I saw the waiter swiping my debit card repeatedly . I was young and broke and told my captain. He flipped out and almost threw the table. (Thank God for him, I was in shock. If you are reading this and were a Captain at USAirways in the late 1990's, I love you.❤️) All of a sudden, none of the employees could speak English. I called the airline credit union and sure enough, my bank account was completely drained, the waiter swiping and stealing my bill (about $30) FOUR times. An immediate hold was put on my card and the customer service rep immediately reimbursed me. It was just awful.
