Not necessarily...especially with some distance. But yeah, up close like that, the “bang” is deafening for sure and would be hard to tell. So, yeah, I’ll stand corrected on that, but it sure sounded just like my Glock 19 when I rapid fire it. And it sounds a whole lot different than my Glock 32 in .357SIG. It is LOUDER even with muffs on.

I will concede there might be one noticeable difference —the crack of projectiles exceeding the SOS. Some 9mm loads, 357sig, 357Mag, 38super — all of these will have initials velocities >1100+FPS — will be indistinguishable.

The report may be distant, but the projectile as long as it remains supersonic will produce a loud crack. Which of the above chambering produced the crack is any bodies guess. Oh, wait. Maybe it was 10mm or 44mag or 44supermag ...
