Because it was manufactured to be different. Take the common cold virus, tag some serious influenza like respiratory and hemoglobin symptoms to it and release to the world. It will be very infectious, you’ll just keep getting it just like you do colds, there will be no vaccine or large build up of antibodies and you’ll get deathly ill like the swine flu.

It also has been found to contain parts of the AIDS virus. Anybody who says this wasn’t engineered is out of touch with reality. The Chinese were experimenting with dangerous stuff. Maybe it got released accidentally, or maybe they saw their economy heading for the toilet as a result of their infections and deliberately decided to tank everyone else’s economy, especially ours.
