The new name will be: The Washington Redtails

I'd bet money on it. It will be a nod to the Tuskegee Airmen. That's a win-win for the BLM crowd and the NFL. The only problem is that may of the original Tuskegee Airmen were American loving patriots.

Maybe not. That could suggest Baboons or monkey butt.

This was my thought as well.

They will have to get rid of the head of the indian, but with a Redtails name they can keep the other feature, the feathers with red and yellow highlights.

The reason they picked the name Redskins in the first place was to preserve their colors and indian themed logos. The name they had to change from back then was the Braves and they already had a red theme.

The Boston Braves baseball team and the Boston Braves football team were originally owned by the same ownership team, when ownership of the two teams diverged the football team had to adopt a new name. Today those two teams are the Atlanta Braves and the Washington Redskins.
