@GrandJediMasterYoda: Thanks for posting this - I think. My paternal grandfather ran from Russian Communism as a young man in the early 1920s. He had to leave most of his family behind, and he was forever haunted by the horrible lives that they lived. His own father was murdered - literally beaten to death - by the NKVD in 1937 (as a 73-year-old man suffering from esophageal cancer); my GF knew that he had died and when, but didn’t find out why until he visited what was left of his family in 1969. What had been intended to be a happy trip, a reunion with long-lost family, turned into a nightmare for him. I remember when he came back and visited us to tell my father about the trip and the family, that he cried like a baby when telling my father about the misery that was Communism for his family - and I have never forgotten that. It wasn’t just that they had taken everything that my great GF had ever broken his back to earn except for the house that he lived in (which they did), or that every letter and post card to or from the family was read by the secret police (they were), or that they murdered my great GF for renting out part of his home to simply put food on the table (they did), but it was the fact that they had essentially imprisoned almost all of his family in the world’s largest open-air prison for 3 generations. I just HAD to study them, because to ignore that evil regime would almost like denying who I was. So I studied them, and have continued doing so to this day.

@Hambone 1934: you say that this isn’t a revolution, that it is the last (political) gasp of the blacks as they (well, their more intelligent leadership) see the Hispanics overcoming them as the Dem’s most favored group, and themselves getting thrown under the bus. I wish, I hope and pray, that you were right but I don’t believe that you are - instead, I believe that you are simply not seeing the big picture. You see, after the incident at our home with my grandfather mentioned above, I resolved to study the Communists, and I have done so for the last 50 years. They do not go away; you may defeat them badly in any particular battle, but until and unless you literally exterminate them, they keep coming back.

Why is that? It’s actually quite simple: Communism isn’t about social justice or creating a “perfect” or a just society; it isn’t even about getting revenge upon the “capitalist oppressors” (though, of course, that’s part of what they do). No, those are all fig leaves, that’s how those running a revolution sell it to what Lenin called the “useful idiots” - the common, idealistic (i.e. naive) people who are persuaded by Communist propaganda that the existing system is “fundamentally flawed” or “inherently racist” (a political concept invented by the Soviets) or “inherently corrupt.” Once those useful idiots have been served their purpose in hastening/accomplishing the revolution, the mask comes off and the real agenda appears (and that’s when the suffering of the useful idiots begins, and when the more ambitious of them go to camps or to the forest to get a bullet in the back of the head). That real agenda is nothing more complex than attaining and maintaining power over others, for that (self-) selected elite of the Party. They will never say this, but they ALWAYS act this way. That’s what keeps them going like some horror movie vampire, like the Terminator - the sheer lust for power.

I would caution you against casually dismissing what Yuri Bezmenov has to say - he knows their system because he was an integral part of it until he could stand it no more. This guy knows what he’s talking and writing about, and everything that he has said about how Communism works and what it is trying to do to this nation has either come true, or can easily do so in the next few years or decades. The Communists know - and have known for nearly 100 years - that THIS country is not only the biggest prize, but it is the very key to their success: neutralize the US, and they can run wild just like the Japanese did for 6 months in the Pacific after Pearl Harbor. The difference here is that if the US is neutralized in some fashion, there will be no Arsenal of Democracy, no armies, navies and air forces of millions equipped with the best of Western technology to fight them, no mountains of Western money to buy weapons, to train soldiers, to fight the propaganda war - and every other nation on Earth knows this. Neutralize the US, and every other nation will cut its best deal to maintain the temporary illusion of independence - and if you want an example of that, you couldn’t find one more clear than that of Hong Kong. HK’s illusion of independence is nearly over, and the reality of Red Chinese rule over them is about to begin.

My greatest fear, my nightmare scenario, is that I essentially become my great GF, 100 years later. I know that I alone cannot possibly stop or slow down the great tidal forces of History, that it is possible that I and my present family will be victimized by Communism in a similar manner to my GF’s family. The only difference that there will be of any substance is that I know what is coming, and I swear that this time it won’t be for free.

Great post. Thank you.

Heartwrenching, to read about your great-grandfather.

Your grandfather had someplace to escape to, for freedom.

We will not.

America is the last stop, for freedom.
