Against Adam Savage, co-host of the Mythbusters show, a lawsuit has been filed about sexual abuse of his sister. She accuses him of molestation when both were still children.

The lawsuit has been sued in New York City by sister Miranda Pacchiana, who claims that Savage has sexually abused her “repeatedly for several years.” She says that rape began when she was 7 years old and he was 9.

I have to question whether a 9 year old was capable of rape.

I don’t know anything about the guy whatsoever, so unbiased view here, but at that age it would not have been handled that way, not in most states at least. She is trying to get money from him. My opinion.

You would need to know which state this occurred in (she’s suing in NY so perhaps that’s it?) and then read the definition of rape for that state. You can read for yourself so I won’t go into detail but in many states the definition involves “consent” and also the age of the victim.
