then you just delay when you get it, because you WILL get it, everyone will. Sorry, that’s just the way it is.

Look at your local hospitals... if they have room.. now is a great time to go ahead and expose yourself.

[Two layers of quilting cloth are probably best. A pocket for a HEPA filter can also be part of the design but might require exhalation valves for some.]

“When you’re in the middle of an outbreak, wearing a mask might make people feel a little bit better and it might even block a droplet, but it’s not providing the perfect protection that people think that it is. And, often, there are unintended consequences—people keep fiddling with the mask and they keep touching their face.” - Dr Anthony Fauci

[[will decrease the risk of infection by the person wearing the mask by about 65 percent.”]]

So If We’re out and exposed to the virus for 100 minutes, we’ll be protected for the first 65 minutes, but not the remaining 45 minutes?

or is this the scenario? if 100 virus agents hit the mask, 65 will be blocked but 45 make it through?

or- or or

It works,

it doesn’t work.

It works.

It doesn’t work.

Might as well be picking daisies to decide.

OK, so those who are fearful/careful can wear their masks and get substantial protection. Those lloke me who are sanguine should be able to go out and about and live our lives.

Odd how it contradicts many other studies that show that typical homemade masks are not effective in stopping the spread. Those studies do not depend on modeling.
