Therein lies the problem. While many would like to believe this will play well into Trump's chances for re-election, what's more likely is the disorder in the blue states will prevent the GOP from retaining and/or recovering red/purple districts.
I have felt all along the plan was to keep the House and re-take the Senate. I see little to believe the GOP will be able to win the House, and I have some concern about them being able to hold the Senate. Re-taking the White House would be icing on the cake for the DEMs.
I put that responsibility on Republican congressman and Senators. They are not fighters, they are hiders. They hide behind skirts, they hide in their closet somewhere and don’t come out and defend any Trump ideas they just badmouth him and them. Why would anyone vote for them enthusiastically? Only to help Trump keep Senate.
