I was reading an article a while ago about how a coroner may determine a cause of death...
“would he\she have lived if not for Covid ?”
the problem is, contributory is not causative, yet they get lumped.
I think people, on our side, are a bit harsh about this contriubtory vs. cause. The person may have had say emphysema and sure they didn’t have a long time to live, but if they caught covid, then they died, then it still robbed them of weeks or months that they would have lived so it should be counted. Even George Floyd, though we’ll never know now, could have been incoherent because he was sick, though the cannabis and fentanyl in his system makes him a rather unsympathetic character.
I do agree that an asymptomatic carrier who shoots thairselves in thair haid because they can’t stand the isolation should not be counted. . . or should it?
