I saw an interview conducted in an Israeli prison of a Muslim who made bombs for jihadists. The reporter asked him why he didn’t use any of the bombs himself. The expression on the bomb-builder’s face was priceless. He looked at the reporter like the reporter must be stupid. But, he recovered and said something along the lines of, “Allah called me to this task so that I might implement his will. That was my task and it was their task to die for Him.” Under Islam, suicide is a sin. But dying while killing infidels means you go straight to heaven. So what does one do if he's depressed and suicidal?
Alternately, someone who is condemned to be executed could be issued a choice.
