It's not nearly as bad as they make it sound.
As noted in earlier posts, I emailed both his campaign and his office, and have gotten no response from either, and he has not made any clarification, cause in my county, it's basically wear a mask inside any store.
He needs to rescind the order if he has any desire to get re-elected. There's a recall petition circulating, and guess who started it? Moveon.org. I had to laugh, cause it is such a Democrat thing to do. Lure Abbott into making a "bipartisan" gesture, knowing the people it will make angry is his base, get his base to sign a recall petition, and try to get a democrat in that will both double down and go after the 2nd amendment.
As angry as people are at Abbott right now, he's fortunate he's not up for re-election until 2022.
Good. People should be furious at weasel words, which is what Abbot’s pronouncement sounded like to me.
Believe me, I am furious at every single one of these a-hole politicians that even suggests they have the right to tell me to wear a mask.
