The leftist revisionists are totally uninterested in facts, just what makes some people “feel good.” They are getting more ridiculous with it though; it was bad enough when they tried to claim that ethnically Greek, Egyptian queen Cleopatra was black against the historical evidence. Now they’ve moved on to claiming an ethnic German, because you know, no real white person has ever had dark, bushy hair.
It reeks of desperation and is a result of the (very outdated) one-drop rule, where they imaginatively try to find signs that someone important was actually 1/8 black and “only” 7/8 white (or something like that) to then declare that person “black.” It doesn’t matter to them what their actual heritage was, what their self-identity was, or how other people around them perceived them.
On the plus side though, maybe this rumor will stop the radical terrorists from attacking statues of Beethoven like they did to the great European writer Miguel de Cervantes in San Francisco.
