Recent history: Instead of turkeys for celebratory occasions, Brazilians use a large chicken known as Chester or a Chester. According to m son #3, who married a Brazilian, someone from Brazil roamed the US to find the largest chicken he could. Took it to Brazil and it became Chester.
Presumably because American chickens have been bred for particularly large breasts.
