YES, but its a VERY hopeless song. She dies and her once boss finally wakes up to the fact he listened to a Judas and fired this beautiful woman who had to sell out her body to provide her her daughter. Its her former boss who wake's to the unjust laws and he goes and buys her daughter from the bar keepers and raise her himself.
It was easier for him to fire her because he had escaped from prison (for stealing bread for his family)and don't want any notice of himself. He was thoughtless and only thinking of himself...while he destroyed a young woman's life.
