To be honest, this is the first I have heard of the song that Q posted.
And I can see why the lyrics make one so wistful.
Like you, I have been almost besides myself trying to make sense of what is going on, and what I can do about it. Mrs. exit82 feels the same way.
I pray, and I ask the Lord constantly to watch over and protect President Trump, his family, those who are loyal to him and our great military.
My family is pro Trump, and so is my pastor. Most all of my friends are as well.Which is amazing, being in an increasingly purple area of a blue state.
What perplexes me the most is the lack of critical thinking and the purposeful blindness of those who don’t see what we see. They are blind to the fact that a country and freedoms that took 244 years to build and to protect can be gone quickly, never to be regained without bloodshed.
The comparisons to Israel in the Old Testament losing the blessings of God by rejection of His Word become more apt by the day.
So, the lyrics of the song you posted are quite approps.
It seems a self-destructive madness has infected our country.
The overlay of the COVID-19 disease (read: bioweapon from China) and the absolute tyranny of the governors against us is maddening.
And without Donald Trump as President, any hope of justice and course correction will be lost.
Our political class on both sides of the aisle have utterly failed us, except for a handful of good leaders.
Four months from tomorrow, America decides its fate. And those four months will be filled with one horror-show after another.
And if Q is not right, this will all end VERY badly.
George Washington is asking them at the 1776 congress...
Does anyone SEE what I see? Is anybody care...is anybody there? I see ALL American’s FREE......

[ADAMS]
“Is anybody there?”
“Does anybody care?”
Does anybody see what I see?
They want me to quit
They say, “John, give up the fight!”
Still, to England, I say:
“Good night, forever good night!”
For I have crossed the Rubicon
Let the bridge be burned behind me!
Come what may, come what may
Commitment!
The croakers all say
We’ll rue the day
There’ll be hell to pay
In fiery purgatory
Through all the gloom
Through all the gloom
I can see the rays of ravishing light
And glory
Is anybody there?
Does anybody care?
Does anybody see what I see?
I see fireworks
I see the pageant and pomp and parade
I hear the bells ringing out
I hear the cannons roar
I see Americans
All Americans
Free forevermore!
How quiet
How quiet the chamber is
How silent
How silent the chamber is
Is anybody there?
Does anybody care?
(spoken)
Does anybody see what I see?
Good post exit, thank you.
