It’s hard to find any school that is not immersed in liberalism.

When I got my teaching credential in Texas there were three of us that were part of a plan to convert science and math older people into teachers. There were three engineers in my group. Every one of us quit teaching in the first year. It’s not worth the effort, actually teaching is not rewarded, and I’m sure that former teacher will find a much more rewarding and lucrative career elsewhere.

Common Core and the lack of discipline did it for me.

Was so happy to retire.

I'd cheerfully claim that those engineers left teaching not because of the salaries but due to "our" ingrained aversion to BS. Particularly when it occurs in Mathematics.

Our kids still tell stories about my reaction to New Math back in the 80's and the first time I encountered that Common Core stuff in grandson's homework I had to leave the house until I stopped sputtering and swearing.
