A couple of notes:
1. 333 out of 521 deaths were in long term facilities = 64% of the total. So, about 2/3rds of the deaths were not in the general population.
2. Our state has been shutdown for four months for 188 other deaths (521-333). If the trends held, then 80% (417)of these deaths were over the age of 65 and had co-morbidities. So, for 43 deaths under 65, we have shut down an economy, worn masks since 5/1/2020, couldn't go to church for 10 weeks, shutdown businesses and limited many others.
3.All businesses have not been allowed to open.
4. You have to wear a mask in public--EVEN ON A BOARDWALK.
5. In addition to wearing masks, we have had mandatory social distancing since before May 1st.
6. We currently have 55 hospitalizations, with 7 critical. When you subtract the recoveries from the total positive cases, this is out of just about 6,000 active cases. The "curve" in DE has been obliterated.
7. Total of positive and negative tests = 148,610, which is 15.2% of the entire population of the state. 91% of these tests since Day One have been NEGATIVE. At this point further testing is a waste of time.
8. Governor is perplexed that people are not co-operating with the army of contact tracers we have.
9. Oh, and we are run by Democrats. Could you tell?
10. Total deaths = 521/975,000 = .00053 =.053%
11. Eliminating the 333 deaths in long term facilities, you have 188/975,000 = .000193 = .0193% = 2-100ths of one percent.

COVID isn’t Trumps fault
Ebola wasn’t Obama’s fault
Sars wasn’t Bush’s fault
And only a handful of cases of herpes was Clinton’s fault
“2-100ths of one percent”
Destroying the economy for that.
And if they closed abortion centers, they’d be lives ahead by quite a bit
Drove through downtown Huntington Beach this afternoon. At the corner of Main & PCH at the pier, there was a big Trump rally, anti- mask, anti-dockdown rally.
The beach was packed.
