My daughter SIL and granddaughter lived with me for awhile when my granddaughter was just a toddler. My SIL was in aero mechanics school in Oakland and I lived closer to there. So my daughter had a job at a gym and had to be there early, so I got my granddaughter ready and took her to daycare on my way to work. One morning we were walking to the car and she’s carrying a muffin. I told her if she didn’t want it I was going to give it to the birds, and threw it on the hill.
That night, my daughter was feeding her dinner, and she came over to me and told me granddaughter told her to give the green beans to the birds. ROFL
