I was hoping parents would realize just how little time is spent on education in the classroom. Plus see how important it is for someone to be home with the children. Maybe less of them will be returning when schools open again.
We saw a beautiful house last night. People are now asking about $100,000 more than they did last year! We are in a huge seller’s Market, with only 2 months inventory. Not a good time to buy. So we are going to be in a mad rush to get our house ready so we are at least buying and selling in the same Market. Our prior plans of always buying high and selling low whether houses or stock market, hasn’t worked out good, lol.

“theyre whats behind the kids being indoctrinated into marxism.”
Almost a decade ago I got my teaching certificate in Texas, and then again in California. Don’t know why they call them credentials there. Anyway the classes in both states were ridiculous. Virtually nothing about how to actually teach and everything about how wonderful multiculturalism was, and how to teach the Underachievers (of course nothing about the gifted students).
I was pretty shocked that even in Texas the whole department was run by liberals. And the little airhead students just absorbing it like it even made sense.

“Still no rain, boy, do we need some.”
We went from a monsoon to drought. I’m actually having to get out and water the garden now. But I do notice that the weeds grow less when there is less rain, so there’s a silver lining.

“One of the best prescriptions I ever got, besides the Xanax.”
LOL! You guys have found some wonderful doctors.
I didn’t know I was a dog person before we got Cooper. And that I argued against getting a dog, I told my husband we were cat people. Dogs are needy, smelly, and you have to spend time with them. Cats aren’t any of those things.
He brought Cooper home anyway. I think it took me less than 24 hours to call him at work and tell him that Cooper was my dog, and he needed to find his own. I was missed when I went to the mailbox! I’ve never been so loved. Now I’m wondering why I have all these cats. Probably for balance. And to Humble me.

You know it isn’t about the kids when the teacher’s unions want to do away with charter schools and home schooling.
It’s all about them and the brainwashing of our youth to turn them into good little units following the Marxist agenda.

What if this entire schools closing situation was Gods way of trying to inform Americas parents that our Democrat run education system is teaching our children to grow up to hate God, America, and family values?
He has a very good point here doesn't he? Good morning. I'm not going to go through the post I missed yesterday. Too much to make myself work to catch up. Can't explain my thoughts but please understand if I double post.
Started a new book yesterday Wes. Vince Flynn "Protect and Defend". I started out telling myself for 4 chapters, this new guy's writing isn't in the real writer's groove. But he's slowly winning me over.
Tweety if I continue to stay home my porch will become a greenhouse for sure. Only one plant is still on the other side of the room. They all seem to like the morning sun that comes through the back 1942 windows. Shame they couldn't have all been displayed without the center braces in all three. It would have been more light but our builder was worried about the weight of the beams and roof on such old window frames. You really inspired me.
One more personal topic. Sorry then I'll go hunt information. Remember I rarely get out..lol
During our black-outs we started noticing our next door neighbors having a generator going. Its a first. Hubby came in yesterday and said they are having serious water problems in their basement. When or if the electric goes off their basement starts to take in water because the sump pump isn't working. And while out talking during a black-out our neighbor on the other side (who has a very large basement because his house is a thermo house) he tells me his one pump is most likely pumping out spring water.
OK. I'm talked out thankfully.

With all the people fleeing the big cities for the country, I can see how it is driving the prices up.
Makes your search so much harder.
You sure it wouldn’t be much easier to buy a supply of ear plugs?
Just kidding, of course.
