The quote that Q references from Paine is from American Crisis and isn't a call to revolution...he did that in Common Sense. But this was a desperate call in the winter of 1776 for the enlistees in the Continental Army to extend their enlistments and stay in the fight. Washington was poised to lose 2/3 of his army at the New Year. The revolution would have been over before it had a chance. The men were dispirited, felt abandoned by Congress and hopeless. They were poorly clothed, poorly armed, poorly trained and poorly fed. They were desperate.
Thomas Paine begged these men to stay in the fight...and I think Q is doing the same with us.
