Kaepernick was born in 1987 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Heidi Russo, who is white. His birth father, who is African-American (of Ghanaian, Nigerian, and Ivorian ancestry[a]), separated from Russo before Kaepernick was born. Russo placed Kaepernick for adoption with a white couple named Rick and Teresa Kaepernick. The couple had two older children: son Kyle and daughter Devon. The Kaepernicks decided to adopt a boy after losing two other sons to heart defects.

Lots of good stuff on Netflix. Too bad they feel compelled to do this crap. Im lucky to have a friend’s logon so I watch for free as a guest and they get no $ from moi.

When I first saw Kaepernick, I assumed he was white with that Eastern European name. If blacks are so disadvantaged and “victimized”, why is it that so many light-skinned African-Americans who could easily pass as white, choose to identify as black?
