Willa cather

For my kids when they were young, all the Hollywood musicals. Once they get past a certain age esp boys forget it.

But movies are a good way to go. For exploring. Band of brothers very great. Skip episode 9. There’s porn

I second American literature. I read such books as Johnny Tremain, To Kill a Mockingbird, and Gone With the Wind to my daughter. These allowed good discussion between us about our history. The movie “1776” is also great.
