Youre not required to eat with the mask on. Just to order it. And that's completely ridiculous. In my state, you must wear a mask into a restaurant, but you may lower it or remove it to eat.
What possible sense does this make?

I have zero problem ordering with the mask on. I move to the side while my order is being prepared. I get my order, find a seat, remove my mask and eat.

None, but the sheep think that it is the cat's meow. More and more people who live in the United States want someone a position of authority want to be ordered and ruled, not Governed and led. They voting patterns will reflect that come November.

That you are close to either the person you are ordering from or others in line. Once you get to your table you are a sufficient distance you can take it off.
I work with aged and vulnerable seniors and the disabled, so I *ALWAYS* wear one outside the house, I don’t give a crap what anyone thinks, the lives of my clients are more important than somebody’s ‘freedumb’ to infect others.
