Florida Man Explodes at County Commission Over Face Mask Mandate: ‘I Will Not Be Muzzled Like a Mad Dog’ — WATCH

In Florida, where Miami beaches are set to close again because of a surge in new coronavirus cases, a man in St. Lucie Countyis going viral after calling the county commission “pieces of crap” in an explosive diatribe.

“I will not be muzzled like a mad dog,” said the man. “We are being lied to, our freedoms are being taken forever. … And I will not have my health destroyed because you idiots can’t figure, can’t read truth. You go along with the lies that the people who are trying to take down our freedoms and destroy our country. This is sick! You ought to be ashamed of yourself for being a part of this, and I will not be muzzled, and it’s time for us to stand up for our freedoms.”

“If we stand back and let these pieces of crap handle our freedoms,” he added, pointing at the city council, “we will have nothing left. In fact we will be dead.”

I presume none of us has, since overall only 3% of the people in this country have had COVID.

On the other hand, that means that 3% of us did have it at some point, and if we were not wearing masks and got close enough to others, we could well have “bitten” them and never known it.

It is unfortunate that the spread of a virus isn’t obvious like a dog bite, if it was, people would be a lot better at social distancing and wearing masks and we could stop this thing much easier.

Although as too many people have demonstrated, drunks in bars are not very good at following directions.

Even if there isn’t another type of corona/SARS to deal with everything we’ve been doing to combat the killer COVID would also work against Flu (and people are more likely to be sneezing and having nasal drip and coughs etc in flu season).
True enough. That's why we were created with an IMMUNE SYSTEM.

Or are people going to be told “go home!” at their first sustained cough (more than 2 incidents of coughing in an hour)?
Well, it depends on the governor:
