Also...how are you running an entire house, all at the same time, on 50 amps?

A/C, refrigerators, freezers, etc.

on second thought it’s actually 60 amps 220 volts ... plenty of power to run pretty much everything but an electric clothes dryer or whole-house A/C unit which i don’t have anyway. i cool with an evaporative cooler, cook with natural gas oven/range, and heat with natural gas furnace, and heat water with natural gas, and use LEDs and florescents for lighting, so all that’s left is a bunch of electronics and a couple of motors for fridge and freezer. heck, my main panel itself is only 100 amps 220 volts anyway ...
