Thank you very much for such a detailed reply. You’ve certainly given me a lot to think about.

To be honest, when I started reading the Q posts and following various discussions, it was just fun and games - riddles to try to figure out, and rabbit holes to crawl into in search of answers. Nothing wrong with that, it’s what we’re supposed to do.

Then covid-19 came along and things changed. But I saw it as a short term blip, always believed Trump when he said we would get it behind us (as we are) and that the recovery would be “better than ever before”. We did what we were told to do, because the President and his task force looked us in the eye and asked us to.

But then - the Floyd thing happened, and everything that followed, the riots, the rise of BLM, the lawlessness which went unaddressed. Even in my small city the downtown still looks like we’re waiting for a hurricane because after one night of vandalism the store owners evidently gave up thinking the law would be (or could be) enforced, and took matters into their own hands and boarded-up.

That shook me. The feeling that something was very wrong has been hard to shake, this is not how Americans are! Or at least not how we have been - so who’s going to take action to put things right again? I know many others have felt the same way.

Without Q’s posts, it would have been a rough ride. But to my point about faith, if you believe that patriots are still in control, that the words Q uses are given for a reason, then this too feels like something we will get through, together, and emerge better and stronger than before. But for that to happen we (in the broadest sense) must see evil for what it is - EVIL, not just a “choice” or some kind of game. That’s where we seem to be.
