The article is total poppy-cock, and you’re conclusions are inaccurate. (from EnglishOnly)
And....your own ‘set of facts’ don’t count ;-) (from Jane Long

The "conclusions" are not mine. They are the conclusions of a significant scientific review conducted by Dr. Denis G Rancourt, PhD, which is fully explained in his article.

He summarizes seven seperate research trials, with links to each trial report.

Specifically he notes that all of these articles indicate masks are NOT effective, and that NO significant trials that show that masks are effective yet exists.

Read the article and see for yourself.

LOL!
You’re a nut.

In my area few wear masks. Those that do have “at risk” house members.
They take care with the masks.

Those that don’t take care of their mask-using are probably people that it doesn’t matter anyway.

I read Dr. Rancourt’s whole paper a couple weeks ago and found it quite convincing, especially as it’s a meta-analysis of previous research on virus transmission.

In essence, he’s saying: “If you don’t believe me, here’s what these other researchers have to say.”

I only had to wear a mask on a couple visits to our local VA clinic here in sunny Southwest Florida. That was enough for me.

The public reaction to this epidemic has been a disgrace. We are truly a nation of cowards, albeit cowards egged on by a duplicitous media.

The 1957-58 Asian flu caused about 116,000 fatalities in a US population of about 175 million. The 1968-69 Hong Kong flu caused about 100,000 deaths out of a population of about 220 million.

On a per capita basis, both these epidemics were worse than the current one. But in neither event did the country shut down, throwing millions out of work.

If there’s one positive lesson to be learned from this debacle, it’s that more needs to be done to safeguard the frail elderly. And that most emphatically means avoiding criminal incompetence like Gov. Andrew Cuomo sending flu victims to nursing homes, when there were emergency hospitals at the Javits Center and the USNS Comfort.

Let’s not forget that the mass panic is about one thing and one thing only — discrediting President Trump. It’s yet another phase in a despicable coup against this courageous and highly competent leader.

Refusing to wear a mask is one way I can quietly give the middle finger to leftists — including the leftists here on Free Republic.

Living in fear is no way to live.

FYI...I was agreeing with you, and the article.

Just making sure you realize this. I couldn’t tell by your reply.
