TLS, I’m sure you were a little surprised at my response to your humorous query about the incongruity of my location. You unknowingly triggered an outpouring of my heart.
God was in control. It was no coincidence that my new U.S. citizenship made it possible for me to go and eventually come back. It was no coincidence that the sale of our old house in Tempe closed the same day I got the news about my Dad’s pneumonia, so I had one less thing to worry about when I travelled. It was no coincidence that a legal door opened, and my dad and I got to see each other one last time. And it was no coincidence that I could be here to help my mother through her loss.
