Dont mean to ask a silly question but are all data results compiled by patient ID. Or if someone gets tested at say CVS and is positive then in a week or so goes to ER on unrelated reason but is required to test again, is that counted as one case or 2. If double counted that would account for high numbers. I ask my doctors office and they had no idea.
re: are test double counted
Excellent question and no, I don’t have answer. But as usual we can follow the money and I betcha if govt is paying testing facilities for the tests then Yes, I can see double counting big possibility/ Let me know if anyone answers you, please.

I'm going to answer all these wonderful questions by going back to my position all along: ALL THE DATA IS FLAWED, but the confirmed cases seems a little more solid than other categories, especially deaths.
What I HOPE to be able to track is the TREND.
The national trend is UP; but, I fully expect it to start back down again in a short time (less than 2 weeks) as the CV Wave rolls on past the South and into Mexico.
Incidentally, Italy reduced their Total Deaths yesterday as opposed to the day before, thereby reporting a negative number of deaths for the day; so, I guess Zombie Apocalypse has finally arrived.
And I bet you were just asking yourself, as was I: "What else could go wrong?"
