Did you want my Nokia 930? It’s a Windows phone!

It might have been alright but hasn't Microsoft abandoned it?

Here's what I'm wondering... has anyone tried the Purism Librem 5? The ad at this page says this... "The Librem 5 represents the opportunity for you to take back control and protect your private information, your digital life through free and open source software, open governance, and transparency."

As I look at the Purism site, it looks like this is exactly what I'm looking for and I'd greatly appreciate any reports anyone can provide... https://puri.sm/products/librem-5/

Specialty phones are going to be expensive phones. I’d probably keep two phones, one that I can use the internet and the other that I make calls off of, like a Nokia 3210.

Yeah, Microsoft isn’t supporting it any longer. However, it was a great phone its time. Top of the line. However, on my phone, Edge no longer works on it and I had to download a substitute internet browser.

I use a LG G8 as my main phone and it’s pretty decent.

Blackberry phones are still being made. They use android, but they use a blackberry shell on top to ensure your privacy.
