NASCAR announced it was investigating after a noose was found hanging in driver Bubba Wallace's garage stall Sunday at Talladega, nearly two weeks after prohibiting any images or displays of the Confederate flag at events.
Wallace, 26, the only black driver in the NASCAR Cup Series, responded on Twitter late Sunday. He said the sport has made a commitment to shaping an inclusive community, adding that "we will not be deterred by the reprehensible actions of those who seek to spread hate.

BINGO!
It does seem odd that anybody not associated with the race car owner had access to their car the night before a race.
Drivers are not even permitted to enter the garage, instead going directly from their motorhomes to the race cars to drive. They were never called to the cars Sunday because of rain.
Disgruntled fans with Confederate flags drove past the main entrance to the Alabama race track prior to Sundays race, while a plane flew above the track pulling a banner of the flag that read Defund NASCAR.
Hours after the race was postponed by rain, NASCAR said the noose had been found. The sanctioning body vowed to do everything possible to find who was responsible and eliminate them from the sport. It has not offered other details.

After all of NASCARs insane proclamations over the last couple weeks Ive given up being a fan.
I sent a letter to the CEO informing him that he lost a fifty year fan.
I thought I read today all the driver’s are going to do some kind of show of support for Bubba.
Did you notice how well Wallace finished at Martinsville in the Black Lives Matter car? His average finish is 26. He finished 11th. Everyone gave him wide berth cause no one wanted to be the guy to crash him.
Part of my CEO letter was that their political correctness is affecting competition
Shouldn’t be too hard to get some DNA off that rope.
Security is tight to prevent one crew from messing with someone else’s vehicle.
Its going to be one of Bubba’s own crew members.
So what?
My sentiments, too.
WGAF?
Did he get to finish his subway???
Yes.

...all the garages at Talledega have nooses. They’re merely ropes with a loop tied onto the end as a grab handle to pull the garage door down.
