Tickets aren’t required for entry. They always have way more tickets reserved than the capacity of the venue. I went to a rally in late 2017, right after the Kavanaugh confirmation. It was in Kentucky, so you can imagine that the Turtle and Rand Paul were rock stars!
Anyway, I reserved 2 spots for the rally in case some hot chick actually wanted to go with me. Of course none did, but I bet a lot of people over-reserved. And a lot of people signed up and didn’t show.
All that said, the place held about 9000, it was packed floor to ceiling, and a good number of people watched on the Jumbotron outside. Of course, Antifa hadn’t yet declared war on the US, so the few protesters were vocal but polite.
Anyway, I’m sure that a portion of the 1 million were leftists thinking that they were playing a trick. But the venue held 19,000. And you didn’t need a ticket to get in. I would venture to say that it was the disruption of antifa/BLM thugs outside that may have reduced crowd size rather than lack of people wanting to get in.
The next rally will be packed.
I think Trump held his first rally in Oklahoma cause that't overwhelmingly the most pro Trump state. A lot of other states, he's have to wade through a lot of derpiness from state derps just to be able to hold a rally. And the hordes will disrupt even more.

The fact that AOC and others thought that their requesting tickets would prevent the Trump supporters from getting some shows how completely infantile their thinking is. And the fact that they are boasting about it is broadcasting the proof that they are not serious thinkers, is amazing to me. It truly is the way a 13 year old thinks.
