It's Time to Bench Fauci

The single biggest threat against President Donald Trump's reelection in November isn't unhinged liberals out for blood, a hostile media or even a politicized U.S. Supreme Court; it's Dr. Anthony Fauci, the top infectious disease adviser on the White House Coronavirus Task Force. If he's not reined in, then he may succeed in making Trump a one-term president.

Strike 1

In hindsight, advisers like Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, should've recommended a partial lockdown and a quarantine only for our nation's most vulnerable citizens -- the elderly and those with underlying medical conditions

Strike 2.

Fauci has also sowed skepticism about kids going back to school in the fall, radically influencing, if not forever altering, our entire U.S. education system

Strike 3

Americans are not going to accept a beloved American pastime like football -- or other pro sports -- being canceled indefinitely because Fauci, an unelected bureaucrat with an opinion, says so.

Bottom line: If the president doesn't bench Fauci soon and reject his endless calls for extreme mitigation measures, he's likely to join 46 million on the unemployment line come November

He was born or hatched in 1940..

So he is a bit older than 78..

He is bought and paid for by liberals...

Speaking as one with a lifetime chronic disease, I have long ago discovered that doctors put their pants on one leg at a time just like the rest of us.

I have roamed from clinician to clinician like Diogenes, looking cor a doctor who won’t shovel the s*** when he doesn’t really know the answer, or who will actually listen to the person having the symptoms. One guy was head of the relevant department at at world-reknowned hospital, who not only messed up my treatment for a period of years; he put a friend of mine into intensive care.

I told her not to go to him. But the “impressive” factor of a supposedly learned doc in a prestigious position overrode her better judgement; and that may also have been the case with Trump concerning Fauxci.

One thing is certain, no matter who President Trump chose, the media would have denounced any advice involving personal freedom of choice as to whether to mask or to self-quarantine. This is where our litigious society has led us: to tyranny.

Trump used him to insulate himself from the mob.

So true. Trump would have been crucified and called a murder if he didn’t involve him. Those of us who filter the media could see Trump using new things to get through this e.g private vs public partnerships , moving ships that were never used in spite of “ chicken little Cuomo” claiming NY would perish

The Media is in full take him out mode. We need to get out and vote and get others to do the same to offset the Dems using any and all tricks to cover all the misdeeds they have done while faking that they “care” and are better for the future

I do believe that had Trump not gone into shutdown mode the Republicans would have impeached and removed him. Fauci deflected the shitstorm of the Left because he is a SCIENTIST! and could say whatever while DJT would do what he had to do. Fauci is primarily a bureaucrat so when Trump would change his steering Fauci followed along and announced a new course. The Left could not crucify the good faux Doctor because he seemed to be telling them what they wanted to hear.
